End of VBS '06
Vacation Bible School ended with our usual pie in the face on Friday. Girls brought in the most money this year so the boys had to have someone represent them by getting pied!
The culprit for the boys was Robert Simmons and for the girls was Tracie Page. With the boys losing, Tracie loved having the chance to pie Robert. Robert was a very good sport and took it all in stride. He did however come back and get Tracie in the end. I will be putting a great picture of that up later.
I could not leave our VBS Director out of the pie smearing though so here is a great shot of Ann with pie in her face!
It was a great VBS year at Rose City Church of God. Nicole, Brandon, Billy and myself played kickball and dodge ball with the kids until it got to dark and then the teens had a lock-in.

Glacier Pass
If you like the cold mountains in Alaska Dominique and Kathy's class is the place for you to come visit. They have create a "cold" atmosphere in their room with a white and blue look that makes you think of skiing and snow. Their animals in the room fit right in with their furry looks. They have the most kids in their class so far too! This class must be the hang out for kid who have completed 3rd and 4th grade!
Arctic Edge Camp
Kids that have completed 1st and 2nd grade are enjoying this outdoor scene that Nicole and Leah have created for the. Using a raft tubes and trees surrounding the room, they give their kids the idean that they are on a camping adventure. Nicole also had a great idea of making the Northern Lights by painting a sheet of paper and putting Christmas lights behind it!

We have started Vacation Bible School here at Rose City Church of God in Thomasville, Georgia! Instead of emailing everyone pictures I decided to try out a blog. So bear with me as I describe our rooms and what we have going on this year. Our teachers and helpers have outdone themselves this year. We were also very fortunate to have a few churches donate some things for us to use. The picture you see above are a few in our hallway to pep up the kids as they go into their classrooms!
